The Indonesian Seafarers Union (KPI) held a ceremonial Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing with PertaLife Insurance for the implementation of the Group pension plan Program on December 19, 2025. This program is dedicated to KPI seafarer members working onboard vessels and covered under the KPI Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), as a joint commitment to providing protection and ensuring the welfare of Indonesian seafarers. The event was attended by the Director of PertaLife Insurance, Mr. Martino Faishal Saudi, along with representatives of manning agent companies. At the end of the session, a brief presentation on the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) was delivered to strengthen mutual understanding and to reinforce the solid relationship between KPI and the companies as social partners.
