Through close collaboration between ITF, IMEC, DAD-DER, and trade unions from seven countries, the Turkish IBF Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for the 2026–2027 period was officially introduced and signed in Istanbul. This agreement also covers Indonesian seafarers working on Turkish-flagged or Turkish-owned vessels, ensuring that they receive equal rights, protection, and fair working conditions alongside seafarers of other nationalities.
